More Memorial Day

Here are a couple more shots from Memorial Day. If you can't tell, Olivia is eating her favorite, chocolate cake and ice cream.

Memorial Day

We spent Memorial day at Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Bob's. The girls had fun learning to play croquet, and later play in the water.

Bonk!

Isabelle is showing off the bonk she got on Sunday, after falling down the deck stairs, literally head over heels. (To the left of her left eye.)

Bubbles

Here we have Olivia working hard on blowing bubbles. Way to go, sweetie!

Visits

We were blessed with visits from both the girls' birthfamilies on Sunday. It was a great day to play and catch up. We've been so busy lately that it's been hard finding time to have anyone over. Thanks for visiting Kim, Emily, Chad, Mary and Sue! It was good to see you!

Busy!

The last few weeks we've been busy "prettying up" the house. Heather painted both upstairs bedrooms. We had our friend Jesse paint the living room and hallway upstairs, and thanks to Heather's mom coming for a visit, Heather painted the dining room and Gail helped us hang everything back up so it all looks nice. She also did the amazing job of making the upstairs bathroom look decent! Mike moved our bedroom back upstairs and turned the basement room into a large motor playroom for the girls, which they love! Mike and his dad also replaced a number of old outlets upstairs and on the main floor. The next big project is taking care of the moldy grout in the basement shower. Fun! :)

Cleaning girl

Isabelle got a new broom the other day, and she LOVES using it!

Bike fun

Here are a couple shots of the girls having fun out in the front.

Drawing lessons

This is Olivia teaching her baby how to draw. It's wonderful to see how much she likes to help others, even when they are just dolls!

Off to Boston

Last week Mike went on his first business trip since we've been married. He left Sunday morning and came back Wednesday afternoon. As you can see, the girls were less than thrilled that he was leaving.

Face paint

A couple of weeks ago, the girls and I spent the morning at the Children's museum. They had a spot set up that day to paint your own face, and the girls had fun with it.
