Ringing it in!

Yep, I know it's early. We celebrated before the kids went to bed. They don't know the difference, and love ringing in the new year together!

Decorating Daddy is so fun!!!

He's growing up

This little boy is amazing! I can't believe how much he's grown and changed in the last year! He's lost his baby face, and it's being replaced by this handsome little boy face. He's a charmer - and he's most definitely a 3 year old. (Although his big fat "I'm so sad" lip is being rivaled by his new baby sister's.) Even though he doesn't have words, we still know that he does things to get a reaction out of us. He has a stimming (stimulating) behavior of rubbing his hand on things over and over, and he knows he isn't supposed to do it. But he will look right at me, and the look says, "What are you gonna' do?" and then he does it. What a stinker! Yep, he may be significantly delayed physically, but he's definitely a typical 3 year old in attitude.

Merry Christmas!

When the big girls woke up, they looked for baby Jesus, and found him in about 45 minutes. Once Ato T was up too, we headed downstairs to open stockings. When everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Bob's.

Grandma reading answers to a "nut" game.

"And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 1:7)
It's our family tradition to go to church for the Children's Christmas program at 4:30 on Christmas Eve, then come home and have a candlelight dinner with Great-Grandma's wedding china, and then open gifts from each other.
Sorry some of the pictures are a little dark. Hope you enjoy them anyway.

Every year ...

Making a gingerbread house seems to be something the big girls need to do every year before they feel like Christmas is coming. It's fun to see their abilities progress each year!

2 months

I can't believe Little Miss is almost 2 months old already! She is amazing! She learns new things every day. God is good!

Sleeping Beauty

What a blessing! This little girl will sleep anywhere!
In a basket with mommy taking pictures:

In the swing:
Getting ready for bath:

In Grandma's arms:

In mommy's arms:

In the middle of the family room floor, with big sisters running around and a big brother screeching:

In the Pack-N-Play:

In her car seat:

And today, she fell asleep on the couch in the therapy waiting room.
